Laurelhurst Cellars 2018 New Releases and Wine Club Pick Up
Open every Saturday in May from 12pm-5pm
May, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29.

The 2018 Wine release is here, Our suggested Wine Club pick up is the 2018 Azorica, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon! The Silver Club is 3btls, and the Gold Club is 6btls. Of course our club is different than others, you may mix any bottles you like and receive your Wine Club Member discount!
Here is the complete selection of what you may choose from…

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
Utilizing fruit from within the Sevein project in Walla Walla valley, Primarily Seven Hills Vineyard. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Malbec. This wine exhibits Black Cherry, Black Currant, and Blackberry with a long balanced finish.

2018 Azorica
This wine is a standout, showcasing aromas of Violet, Spice and Leather followed by flavors of Black Cherry, and Black Plum. Our 2018 Azorica is a blend of Petit Verdot Malbec and Merlot. Utilizing fruit from within the Sevein Project in Walla Walla Valley.

2018 Pinot Noir
This is our inaugural release of Pinot Noir at Laurelhurst Cellars. 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Ridgecrest – Wind Ridge vineyards located in the smallest Appellation in Oregon. Willamette Valley – Ribbon Ridge AVA.

2018 Laurus Nobilis
The Latin name Laurus Nobilis is a genus of the Laurel family and is our name for this intoxicating blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Utilizing fruit from within the Sevein Project in Walla Walla Valley.

Laurelhurst Cellars have been partnering with ReCORK, North America’s largest natural wine cork recycling program, launched in 2008 by Canadian footwear company SOLE. We are an alliance of businesses and individuals who work together to create environmental change by collecting and repurposing natural wine corks. Thanks to people like you, we have grown into a network of over 3,000 cork collection partners, planted more than 8,000 cork oak trees, and recycled over 91 million corks. With billions more corks to recycle every year, we need your help to continue to grow. Join the ReCORK movement and let’s create real change with recycled cork.

Environmental impact
As a recycling initiative, we have an ongoing commitment and obligation to minimize our environmental impact. We do this by monitoring our carbon footprint, powering our factory with hydro-electric power, using UPS’s carbon offsetting program and planting cork oak trees. We have built an efficient network with Collection Partners and grinding facilities to optimize shipping and recycling processes. With these combined efforts, ReCORK has reduced its carbon footprint beyond carbon neutral into carbon negative. As the scope of ReCORK expands, we continually adjust our processes to complement the evolution of our growth. There is no finish line in this process, and we are always looking for opportunities for improvement.

Jack?s BBQ Presents:
The First Annual Low and Slow Festival
A Day of Music, BBQ and Shenanigans Awaits
Seattle?s original Central Texas BBQ joint is commemorating what will be its fifth year in business by holding the first annual Low and Slow Festival on Saturday, August 10th from Noon until 10 pm. Join Jack and friends at his SoDo location for a day to remember with live bands, Texas BBQ and plenty of games for a day of fun, food and festivities.
The lot outside of Jack?s BBQ will be turned into an outdoor concert venue with an added Texas flair and will be filled with fun activities such as chicken shit bingo, horseshoes, frozen margaritas from Tromba tequila and plenty of Shiner Bock beer. But the piece de resistance will be Jack?s cooking up a whole steer! That?s right, the day will be filled with BBQ beef along with other fare from Jack?s standard menu including smoked brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken.
In addition, DJ Greg Vandy from KEXP and host of The Roadhouse will be hosting the events and spinning blues tunes throughout the day.
The event will be headlined by Robert Ellis who?s second album, Photographs, was named one of the top 50 albums of 2011 by American Songwriter magazine. His recently released album Texas Piano Man has been critically acclaimed with the singer-songwriter?s country blues and piano pop coming through loud and clear.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online for $25 in advance via Eventbrite or for $35 at the door. The Low and Slow Festival is for ages 21 and over and will be held rain or shine.
